Middleman Service
Nobody should get scammed — or hurt — over a card.
Marketplace deals go wrong every day: fake cards, cards that never ship, meet-ups that turn dangerous. We sit in the middle so both sides are covered. Flat 10% of the card's value; for higher-value cards we'll discuss a rate that's fair to everyone.
1. Agree on the deal
Buyer and seller settle on a price on Facebook Marketplace, then one of you fills out the form below with the card, the price and both parties.
2. We approve it
We confirm the details with both sides and give the go-ahead. The seller ships the card to Pokeshield — never to a stranger, never to a parking lot meet-up.
3. We inspect the card
Over 20 years of Pokémon card experience goes over it: authenticity, condition, edges, surface, centering, and that the card matches the listing exactly.
4. Money released
The buyer pays through PayPal Goods & Services so they are protected. We only release funds once the card is in hand and everything checks out — then it ships to the buyer.
Our fee, plain and simple
10% of the agreed card value covers inspection, protected payment handling and shipping the card on to the buyer. Big-ticket cards? Message us first and we'll set a price before anything moves.

Our Story
I'm Shane — and Pokémon got me through it.
“When everything around me was falling apart, I could look at those cards and remember: this won't be forever.”
I had a rough childhood. I didn't get cards often, but when I did, I kept them perfect — and opening a pack gave me joy on days I didn't even know how I was going to eat. That's the feeling Pokeshield is built on.
Right now you can barely find Pokémon in stores. Bots wipe out every online drop in minutes and the price jumps hundreds of dollars. Not here. We keep prices as low as we possibly can so real people can actually enjoy what Pokémon has to offer.
We also run a middleman service so nobody has to risk a sketchy meet-up or get scammed on Facebook Marketplace. And a share of everything we sell goes into the Kids Card Fund, so kids who can't afford cards — including kids in hospitals — get that same shot of hope, usually when they're not even expecting it.

Buyer and seller agree on a price, then fill out the form in the Middleman section. We confirm the details with both sides, the seller ships the card to us, and the buyer pays through PayPal Goods & Services so they are protected. We inspect the card, and only when everything checks out do we release the money and ship the card on.
A flat 10% of the agreed card value. That covers inspection, protected payment handling and shipping the card to the buyer. For higher-value cards we will discuss a rate up front, before anyone ships anything.
Authenticity first, then condition: centering, edges, corners, surface, print quality and whether the card matches the listing and photos. Over 20 years around Pokémon cards means the fakes and the re-holders stand out fast.
Yes. Every box we list is factory sealed, never resealed, and stored in a smoke-free room away from heat and sunlight. If a box ever looked off, it would not make it onto the site.
Because that is the whole point of Pokeshield. Bots buy out drops and flip them for hundreds. We price to move product to real collectors and real families, not to squeeze the most out of a shortage.
